Public Trust offers a fee protection service for training providers. The service allows for student fees to be paid into a trust account. Then, when the fees are due, the money can be transferred from the trust account to the provider.
Currently a provider must manually enter student, enrolment and fee information onto the Public Trust Website. Public Trust then processes this information.
Meta Office and Public Trust have been working together to design an electronic system that gathers information already in Take2 and sends it to Public Trust to be processed.
Take2 users who are registered to use the Public Trust functionality can send data for multiple students to Public Trust via email, thus saving duplicate data entry and ensuring reliable data delivery.
Student and enrolment information is entered into Take2 in the normal way. The new Take2 functionality allows you to assign fees to enrolled students. The fee information entered is consistent with the information required by Public Trust. Take2 then allows you to create a batch file that is sent to Public Trust for processing.
Public Trust will then send back to you an email with the forms for the
students to sign attached to be printed out.

To start using the Public Trust functionality email your request, and attach your Take2 back-end file, to helpdesk@meta-office.com.
Meta Office will add the Public Trust Fee Protection functionality into your back-end file and return it to you along with the supporting Fee Protection documentation.

our Website in the Software Upgrades section.

A student is added into Take2 and enrolled into a Programme.
A fee line is created for the student. The fee can be broken into five different categories: tuition, accommodation, bailment, living expenses and insurance fees. The information entered is consistent with Public Trusts requirements.
Using the Fee Trust Account module, you can select a list of students to process. You can view each student’s fee lines and update them if necessary.
Take2 then runs a validation to ensure the data is correct and ready to send to Public Trust. After validation you create a batch file containing the student, enrolment and fee information for each student.
This batch file is then emailed to Public Trust for processing.

On the students Enrolment Details form there is a new sub-form called Trust Account. Here you can create, view and edit the fee information that will be sent to Public Trust for processing.
To make life even easier, processing fee information for multiple students can be done from the Fee Trust Account module.
