The following describes Meta Office's minimum and recommended system requirements for a computer running Take2. [Access Backend Edition]
- Intel 500-megahertz (MHz) processor or higher.
- 2 gigabyte (GB) of RAM. [recommended 4 gigabyte (GB) of RAM]
- 2 gigabyte (GB) available disk space. [recommended 4 gigabyte (GB) available disk space]
- CD-ROM drive. [recommended DVD/RW drive]
- Windows XP with Service Pack (SP) 3 (32-bit) or later. [recommended Windows 7 operating system (32-bit or 64-bit)]
- Microsoft Office 2003 Professional with Service Pack 3 or later.
| You must have the full English version of Microsoft Office Professional installed. Meta Office does not support the Chinese edition or any other language variations of Microsoft Office. |
- 1024 × 768 or higher resolution monitor.
- Microsoft Mouse, Microsoft IntelliMouse, or compatible pointing device.
- Internet functionality requires Internet access.
- Internet Explorer 8 (32-bit browser) or later.
- Active effective up-to-date Anti-virus.
- Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS).
Take2 provides the facility to create backups of the key database file(s) (i.e. the file(s) containing your student data) however you must still place the backup file onto some form of permanent external device - for example CDR. We can not stress enough the importance of doing regular backups to permanent backup media which is totally independent of the computer running Take2. If you do not have a current up-to-date backup of the Take2 database file(s) and your working file gets corrupted or deleted you will loose all your data - permanently.

- 2 gigabyte (GB) of RAM. [recommended 4 gigabyte (GB) of RAM]
- 2 x 80GIG hard drives (hardware mirrored) 7200rpm. [recommended 2 x 120GIG hard drives (hardware mirrored) 7200rpm]
- CD-ROM drive. [recommended DVD/RW drive]
- Microsoft Windows Server 2003 or later. [recommended Windows Server 2008R2 operating system (64-bit)]
- Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Standard. [recommended Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Standard (64-bit)]
- Microsoft Office 2003 Professional with Service Pack 3 or later.
