Take2 has been certified by the Ministry to ensure that it interfaces correctly with the Ministry of Education's NSI and eSDR systems, that the SDR file format meets the requirements set out in the SDR Manual for 2016, and that the NSI and SDR data passed to the Ministry is an accurate representation of the data entered.

11-12-2012 SQL Take2 Version 10.4.200 Released Password required download page

Take2 version 10.4.200 is a further release in the version 10 series. The release has some significant features, including changes to accommodate the 2013 SDR. This means that if you do have to make the SDR in 2013 you must update before 30 April 2013.

  • Updating Courses on the Curriculum Form – When updating course register records you can now elect whether to update related course enrolments.
  • Record of Prior Learning and Course Completions – A lot of additional functionality has been added to make it quicker and easier to record prior learning, and to also set a successful course completion code automatically. A new result notice/academic record preference has been added to allow you to show or hide course outcomes achieved by prior learning.
  • Funding Rates – In 2013 Youth Guarantee and SAC competitive level 1 & 2 funded enrolments generate EFTS values however, unlike SAC level 3 and higher enrolments, the funding rate that is applied to the EFTS is not related to funding categories. In Take2 you can now maintain funding rates against offered qualifications for enrolments funded with funding sources 22 or 25.
  • Three Digit Provider Codes – Some training organisations delivering Youth Guarantee training in 2013 have a three digit provider code as they are technically secondary schools. Take2 now prefixes the three digit code with a zero in order for the SDR files to be correctly formatted.
  • Site Details – We have tidied up the management of site details in the Administration Module.
  • Benefit Code – Having dispensed with collecting a benefit code for FFTO students in 2012, TEC has now decided to require the code again in 2013. The field has been added back to the ERS form.
  • Lookup Tables – We have tidied up the management of lookup tables in the Administration Module. Also, there are a number of new/modified external lookup values which you may need to enter into Take2 for 2013.
